history. Moreover, I am an Eagle Scout. In my free time that I’m not learning about history,

I enjoy playing golf and racing go-karts. I also have a passion for cars and am in various car

clubs.

Ariah L. Kragness - "Behind the Lines of Racial Inequality"

Ariah Kragness brings forth aspects of inequality and race composed in music while drawing

from her personal experiences as a young black woman in her piece. She believes starting a

worldwide conversation and reaching out to spread the message of her community is vital to

the future that's to come. She's currently working towards an associate's degree with hopes

to go after a bachelors' degree majoring in Biology and minoring in political science to further

pursue activism. Her blog touches base on the Black Lives Matter movement and lives lost to

police brutality, urging readers of all walks of life to "read between the lines."

Diana Ton - "Medusa: An Icon of Feminism"

Diana Ton is currently a dual-credit student at The Colony High School and Collin College, working

her way up to earn an associate’s of science degree. She hopes to one day major in Computer

Science and pursue a career in Software Engineering. Ton is an academic writer who aims to

inform the general public about the fascinating area of Greek Mythology and its symbolism

in today’s social climate. Unlike many authors, she approaches these Hellenistic myths with

a relatively uncommon perspective in which proposes the idea that many of these Greek

Gods and Goddesses may have been misrepresented.  Within her blog, Ton hopes to bring forth

the true identity of Medusa and the Goddess' figure of importance in the beliefs of today's

feminists.

Jennifer L. Ton - "Unveiling South Korea's Fierce Education System"

Jennifer Ton is currently enrolled in The Colony High School and Colling College pursuing her high school diploma and Associate's degree. She also plans to achieve further education in the field of business. She uses her platform to address the issues and concerns of South Korea's intense education method and how it impacts its students. While discussing South Korea's culture and importance in education, she is an Asian American that can relate to the pressure from the "Asian cultural values."

Through her blog, she hopes to convey the idea that educational systems should hold greater importance in the physical and mental health of its students.
